Joint Networking with Australia Thailand Business Chamber WA

Joint Networking with Australia Thailand Business Chamber WA

On November 24, 2021, our Chamber hosted a Joint Networking session with the Australia Thailand Business Chamber WA (ATBCWA). Chamber President Mr Khoon Tan and other council members welcomed ATBCWA President Ms Melissa Challenor-Bevis and her team.

Melissa gave a short talk on her experience living in Thailand, and why she subsequently decided to form ATBCWA upon returning to WA. Khun Akapol (Pom) Srisangfa of Landfa Trading, shared his story about coming from Thailand to study in Perth during the 90s, and then stay on to establish business and family.

The event was well supported by representatives from other Asian business Chambers, including Australia Japan Business Council, Hong Kong Australia Business Association WA and Singapore Chamber of Commerce.

Khun Louis Jittiwanakorn from Bangkok Brothers and Mak Mak Catering sponsored food and dessert, and provide some beautiful and delicious Thai food for all to enjoy.

This was the last Wednesday Networking event for 2021. We will recommence our weekly event early in the new year. Look out for announcements on our website and on our newsletters.
