Wednesday Networking with Ade Scaf
Wednesday Networking is a platform for members and non-members to meet different people, be exposed to new ideas and thoughts, develop new relationships and foster existing contacts.
From Teaching to BAKSO, A 30 year Multi-Cultural Journey in Australia
Our speaker, Ade Scaf, is famously known as Perth’s Bakso Lady. Her delicious and highly popular baksos (Indonesian meat balls) are available through catering or local supermarkets. Ade also runs the KwikFud Café at Langford.
For much of the 1990s, Ade lived in Port Hedland and worked as an Indonesian language instructor. She opened her first restaurant, Warung Ade Indonesian Restaurant in Mandurah, in 2015. Ade is active in community work, especially within Perth’s Indonesian community.
Ade will talk about her journey from language teaching to Bakso producing – a 30 year multi-cultural journey in Australia.
