Henry Habekost

Position: Vice President

– Founder/Director of Asialink Capital

Henry was born and raised in Malaysia, with a strong background in finance and banking. Until recently, he served as the Head of Asia Banking for National Australia Bank Ltd (NAB), a division he established in 1999. By the time he retired from NAB at the end of 2017, the Asian operation had become the largest of its kind among Australian banks. Henry holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance and has also studied Commercial Law. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports, particularly badminton.

Since 2009, Henry has held the position of Vice President and is one of only five Honorary Life Members of the Chamber.
